The Coffs Harbour Showground is conveniently located on the Pacific Highway and has developed an excellent working relationship with the Roads and Traffic Authority and to maintain that relationship has implemented a number of management protocols to ensure that any event held on the Coffs Harbour Showground is compliant with the Special Event Guide as issued by the RTA for events, deemed to potentially have an impact on Australia’s busiest highway. The Coffs Harbour Showground located on approximately 17ha of green open space and conveniently located within 5 minutes of the Coffs Harbour’s town centre, is mindful of its neighbours and has a strict policy of noise control. Events where there will be amplified noise must ensure that noise complies with acceptable limits within the Showground perimeter and is below 5 decibels after 10.00pm.
All event organisers are required to perform a risk assessment prior to the event and present this as terms of the licence agreement. For risk assessment requirements in NSW please refer to www.workcover.nsw.gov.au.
At the end of your event the last thing you want to think about is cleaning up. For a small additional fee the Coffs Harbour Showground can take care of the waste disposal and cleaning.
Parking is available on site for approximately 500 cars subject to Traffic Management Plans incorporating Vehicle movement plans.
